Your wedding IS a big deal and your time IS precious.  With Charleston Wedding FAM's experienced crew, we will help maximize your time and stretch your imagination to the limits as we chauffer you from one location to show you just what Charleston has to offer. 

You'll share experiences with other couples and get to meet and greet vendors along the way as we showcase wedding sites, share tips from the pros and even provide special treats along the way. Champagne, canapes and wedding cake samplings are just a few of the small delights that will be hosted by different locations. 

We'll provide you with useful information on each location, complete with terms and conditions, prices and booking information.  We'll even discuss special discounts afforded to A Charleston Event & Bridal Library, specifically for our Charleston Wedding FAM clients as incentives.  Remember, there is no obligation whatsoever to book any facility and you will no doubt have loads of questions along the way.  Our guides and hosts will answer each along the way.

We ask all our FAM clients to wear comfortable shoes as a lot of territory gets covered.  For this simple reason, we have started offering different Wedding FAM Packages. Whether you are looking for a small venue to accommodate 10-20 guests, a mid-sized venue to host 100 or even a large venue that can offer space for up to 500, Charleston Wedding FAMs are designed to show you just WHY Charleston is rated the 4th Destination Wedding Location in the United States.

Wedding FAM Tour packages

Tour packages are designed particularly with you, the bride in mind.  Because everyone has different ideas and visions for their wedding, we offer Wedding FAM Tours to help you make informed decisions and show you a huge variety of venues.  We cover venues for ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner and bridal brunches as well as offer introductions to some of our preferred vendors along the way. 

Our Wedding FAMs book up fast and all reservations are on a first come, first serve basis only.  As these tours book up fast, we ask you to book your Wedding FAM well in advance to avoid disappointment.   All wedding FAMs include first class transportation to all sites, refreshments and tastings along the way.

Wedding FAM Weekend

DAY 1   (10am-6pm)

·         Collect at Meeting Point

·         Tour Charleston’s Historic Plantation Sites

·         Tour Charleston’s All-inclusive Resort Sites

·         Tour A Charleston Event Design Center

·         Tour Charleston Harbor Sites

·         End Day with cocktails at one of Charleston’s Finest Restaurant Reception Sites

Wedding FAM Weekend

DAY 2   (10am-4pm)

·         Collect at Meeting Point

·         Tasting and brief on one of Charleston Finest Restaurant and Reception Sites

·         Tour local Church(es) ( optional depending on group preference)

·         Tour Charleston’s most famous hotels, ballrooms & courtyards

·         Tour Charleston’s Historic Homes and Plantation

·         End Day with cocktails at one of Charleston’s Finest Restaurant with time to shop at the Market

We ask that all our couples wear comfortable shoes and be able to walk without assistance.

Single day Wedding FAMs

This Package includes one day or DAY 1 or DAY 2 of our Tour above.  You will need to let us know your requirements so that we can place you in the day that you will benefit from the most. 

Charleston Wedding FAM Private Tours

This package is meant for couples who would prefer to tour alone and discuss their budgetary requirements.  It is a custom tour based around each individual couple’s vision, budget and guest list amount.  We will pre-set appointments and you will have a personal wedding planner accompany you to each site in style and offer tips and suggestions along the way. 

Our planners are extremely busy on weekends due to upcoming weddings.  If you would like to book your private wedding FAM, please ensure that you call and book your appointments as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Who will benefit from these FAM’s and how to book:

You will need to call our office to qualify for booking your wedding FAM. 

Requirements include:

·         You must be a bride-to-be, groom or parent of bride or groom

·         Your estimated wedding date must be within the next 18 months

·         You must be able to supply us with contact details including name, address, phone numbers and email addresses (we respect your privacy and your information is not sold to third parties or passed along without your sole request to do so)

·         You must be able to supply Visa or Master Card for 50% of cost of FAM (balance is due the week of the FAM)

·         Please note this FAM is NOT open to outside wedding planners
